When young people prefer to go to the city to pursue a dream , he instead chose to remote villages , whether he was looking for ... ? ? ?
Sarjono born from poor families . His parents could not afford school . While still in school , he ran after school hours . Every day , he ran a distance of 15 kilometers to school , because they do not have the funds to use vehicle transfortation . With high spirits , Sarjono able to finish school .
Accustomed to running , Sarjono been a champion sprinter inter provincial level students , in central java . Now , the run is still in the habit of doing . The difference is, now he's running on a motorbike . Sarjono aged 25 years , had to run from wonosari heading to remote villages in Gunung Kidul Regency . There, the congregation has been waiting for a lecture on religion .
Sarjono now become a religious teacher in the remote villages . Journey to the village where he teaches very difficult in through using the vehicle . Because the road is still rocky and full of gravel . There are two villages once a week routine he coached . Namely , rural hamlet blimbing , sleigh village , district minister of village funds ngepah .
From wonosari , Gunung Kidul district capital , is about 25 kilometers Blimbing . To go through the woods to the hamlet should be about 10 kilometers . The road is quite good , but the whole trip was very quiet in the other vehicle pass . after returning to teach , I did not dare go home . Sarjono residents chose to stay at home , after the morning , he would dare to go home .
If he was desperate to come home , safe . but that he was worried about a wild animal or a bike tire can be broken . If it happens Sarjono must drag the vehicle for kilometers . Once upon a time , Sarjono home at night , as it is in worry about him , his bike tire burst , he finally drag the bike to the garage is located very far away .
Sarjono religion teaches about 2.5 years ago . He fostering religious people who do not know even god . At that time he coached the condition of the population is very poor . They all economic difficulties and poor theology . In the village where Sarjono teaching can be said of all the population is very poor , they work as farmers , their fields rely on rainwater . Therefore , they can only plant rice once a year , which in the rainy season . When the dry season they planted crops , especially cassava .
Due to very poor , most of the population was forced to eat cassava as a substitute for rice or rice . The village - like rural poor desaa Blimbing , bases were subjected to proselytizing movement . According wasirun , one of the residents in the village Blimbing . Catholic Blimbing entrance to the village since 1970 . Which begins with building a Christian school . Many people are forced to put their children to this school .
One is the mind ( 35 years ) , who were forced to embrace the Catholic religion . " Time just told to just " words of gratitude . But now the favor has been returned to embrace the religion of Islam .
The school is still standing . They not only founded the school , but also established a mosque .Sarjono told , once upon a time , Sarjono find a mother who wanted to be baptized . He said the mother had a debt , then came the messenger of the church , they were able to pay off the debt as long as you like to go to church . Fortunately Sarjono come . Then Sarjono asked , the mother replied , " I was forced to accept the offer of the church because there is no other choice .
Then Sarjono raise funds from campus , thanks god, Sarjono gets 60 dollars , although it could not pay off the debt of the mother but at least Sarjono prove if Islam is concerned with others .
As for other challenges . teaching religion in the village Blimbing are , there is still a population that adopts animism . Those who worship trees are still there , they believe that they worship the tree can bring goodness and badness . The location of the tree is located behind the mosque where he taught .Sarjono words , it is not easy to teach to be able to survive 3 years . Now every teaching , which is present in only about 20 to 50 people . Each teaching Sarjono usually play the movies from his laptop . But now broken laptop .
